Abstract:  
Highlights:

• To-date, over 1.1 million flood affected people have benefited from humanitarian
assistance.
• Nominations of the candidates in local elections in Province 2 took place on 6
September with elections to take place on 18 September. It is possible that these
elections may hamper relief and recovery efforts.

• Light to moderate rain is forecast for the next 24 hours according to the Department
of Hydrology and Meterology.
