Abstract:
Welcome to the newsletter of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme Nepal. This year has been one of the most challenging years for Nepal as well as UNV. Following the devastating April Earthquake, we have mobilized both national and international Volunteers in large numbers.
“The adversity has brought once in In response to the twin earthquakes, UNV deployed more than 80 National UN a lifetime opportunity to the youths Volunteer Civil Engineers to some of the most affected districts such as of the country and they must seize Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Kavre. Likewise, in continuation to pre earthquake it. They now have a chance to rectify programmes such as the Local Governance and Community Development the mistakes made in past and Programme (LGCDP), UNV-Nepal has partnered with various UN agencies like build a disaster resilient country, UNDP, UN-OCHA,WFP, IOM, UNICEF, etc.
