Abstract:  
Highlights:
1. Medical teams at the Tribhuvan International Airport are carrying out their function smoothly and so far no suspected cases have been identified. They have screened 4744 passengers (male: 2695 and female: 2049) till 10th May 2009. All the logistics are in place.
2. Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) and Avian Influenza Control Project (AICP) are providing further requirement to the referral hospitals in order to make the hospital better equipped. All the required logistic as per SOPs are in place at the airport.
