राष्ट्रिय​ मानवअधिकार आयोग र मानवअधिकार उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय, नेपाल (उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय...नेपाल)ले आज "न्यायिक उपचार र अधिकारहरुको खारेजी: नेपालमा गम्भीर अपराधका मुद्दा फिर्ता" शीर्षकको कानुनी धारणापत्र सार्वजनिक गरेका छन्। नेपालका बन्धनकारी राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय कानुनी दायित्वहरुलाई आधार मान्दै सो संयुक्त पत्रले राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय कानुनअन्तर्गत गम्भीर अपराध ठहर्ने मानवअधिकार उल्लङ्घनहरुमा अनुसन्धान र अभियोजना गर्नुपर्ने एवं दुर्व्यवहार खेपेको भनी पत्ता लागेकाहरुलाई प्रभावकारी कानुनी उपचार उपलव्ध गराउनुपर्ने सरकारको जिम्मेवारीमथि प्रकाश पारेको छ। तर, त्यसको सट्टा सरकारले यस्ता धेरै मुद्दालाई राजनीतिक निर्णय र जोडघटाउका आधारमा फिर्ता लिएको छ।
