Safeguarding Nepali's Intangible Cultural Heritage

Abstract:  
UNESCO continues its initiative to help safe guard Nepal's intangible heritage with a workshop on preparing nominations to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List in Kathmandu from 16th to 20th September 2013.
These living tradition in the from of traditions, performing arts, festive events and skills of people to produce traditional crafts are a central part of the country's collective heritage.
