Press Breifing by Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Nepal
PDF File Size: 110 KB | Download
Next Wednesday, 28th of May, Nepal’s Constituent Assembly will open its first meeting, following the historic April 10 Constituent Assembly election. I just briefed the Security Council this morning on the basis of the report of the Secretary-General, which as you know, reports on the circumstances and results of that election. But my main emphasis in briefing the Council this morning was not just on the success of that election but on the very considerable challenges that Nepal still faces.
