PDF File Size: 9 KB | Download
Abstract:
The Prime Minister of Nepal expressed his extreme concern over the use of children in Nepal’s recently ended armed conflict and sought ILO’s support for the rehabilitation of these children in the post-conflict scenario. In a meeting with visiting ILO Executive Director, Mr Kari Tapiola this morning, the honorable Prime Minister also reassured the commitment of the Government to not only ratify, but more importantly implement, the ILO Convention on Freedom of Association (No.87). He also expressed his gratitude to the ILO for its support during the difficult times of the People’s Movement II in Nepal.
