Abstract:
The UNV Field Unit Nepal conducted a two-day UNV Capacity Development Facility (CDLF) Learning Training at the Summit hotel in Kath-
mandu on 14-15 March. Nepal was one of the pioneer counties to get this CDLF funding. This new initiative was developed in cooperation with, and is Supported by UNV HQ’s CDLF initiative in order to provide UNV Field Units
with the means to plan and host capacity development and learning events for UN Volunteers within the country of assignment. UNV Nepal is one of the first countries to have received funding for this training and conducted it. As a continuation of the training, and an opportunity for UNVs in Nepal to get together and exchange ideas, the UNV Field Unit has planned our first Brown Bag lunch on 25th April, Thursday at 12:30 in the UNDP Conference room.
